Following the success of our national Safe House Discussions held in July 2018, that helped shape and structure our new Diversity and Inclusion work programme, the North of England will be holding their own set of regional workshops to understand the barriers facing colleagues locally from all protected groups when trying to progress in their NHS Finance careers.
The workshops will run from approx. 10:00 - 15:30 and are free to attend. Lunch will be provided.
The workshops will be interactive and practical and will take place in a safe environment for delegates to openly discuss their experiences and feelings around the key themes for the day. Delegates will have the opportunity to take part in facilitated discussions to understand and explore the key issues and barriers facing them and their organisations regarding career progression within NHS finance.
The workshops will apply an approach to enable difficult conversations in a safe space and to provide outcomes for FFF and the North Finance Equality and Inclusion Working Group to take forward as actions.
Book your place using registration links above. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Future-Focused Finance are committed to supporting Diversity & Inclusion, recognising that it is an important aspect in ensuring finance teams identify, nurture and support talented individuals from all backgrounds. A key aspect of the diversity workstream is to support and enhance the careers of protected groups within the function, to help them to achieve their potential and ensure that finance leaders today and in future are representative of the diverse workforce within NHS finance. This can have real tangible benefits for the individuals, to the organisation and be a huge contributor to improving the quality of patient care.
