Wellbeing & Self Workshop

Wellbeing & Self 3 hour Zoom interactive workshop

Audience: Finance staff at all Band levels

You need to know how to take care of yourself in order to look after other people and your team.Wellbeing starts with you. This session will enable you to discover what needs to be true for you to access a calm and positive state so that you can be in the most effective place to respond to challenges positively, calmly and creatively, as well as showing others how to do the same.


  • A framework for recognising and understanding limiting and resourceful states
  • How to realise when we are in states that may be holding us back
  • How to access a calm state (a practical exercise that will show you how to change your state so that you can feel centred, open, aware and connected).
  • How to re-centre during times of stress (some practical exercises that will show you how to recentre and ground yourself during difficult situations so that you can maintain your own inner calm).
  • How to build resilience using past experiences and wisdom
  • Creating a daily practice and action plan so that you can commit to looking after yourself for now and the future.

The workshops will be delivered by Vida Carmel who is a Behavioural Change Coach with over 6 years’ experience helping people think differently and positively change lives. She supports people to build connection and balance in order to create a sustainable future for themselves, others and the world. Vida does this as a speaker, trainer and coach focusing on self-care, belief change and leadership. Having run rehabilitation programmes in prisons as well as delivering an award winning wellbeing programme for LEON Restaurants, she has a unique insight to share. She currently works in the education, healthcare, private and charitable sectors, supporting people to build sustainable systems for the future.
