Great Place to Work

The Great Place to Work action area is split into 4 different workstreams.

  1. The accreditation process. This looks at outlining what is required to make your finance department a great place to work.
  1. Finance Leaders. Work within this area establishes what is required from a finance leader in the form of DoF Characteristics, and looks to support future finance leaders, developing them to their first leadership role.
  1. Finance Careers. This area recognises that everyone within finance has their own career destination and therefore this area of work looks to support individuals throughout their finance career.
  1. Diversity. Underpinning all areas of Great Place to Work is diversity. This area is committed to supporting protected groups to achieve their potential, and ensuring that finance leaders are representative of the diverse workforce within NHS finance.

The action area is supported by a delivery group made up of a number of colleagues from the service, who have volunteered to specialise across one of the four areas.
