The FFF Systems Maturity Model is designed to allow you to benchmark your organisation against three industry standards in nine process areas. The nine areas are:

  • Finance Department
  • Procure-to-Pay
  • Activity-to-Cash
  • Hire-to-Retire
  • Record-to-Report
  • Plan-to-Deliver
  • Capital Accounting
  • Treasury
  • Business Partnering

The Model has been created to enable you to see which aspects of your organisation’s finance processes and systems in the nine areas are performing well and which could be developed to improve the efficiency of your team. By focusing on improving those areas which are less efficient you will free up staff time and allow your staff to spend more time working in those aspects that add value to the organisation.

You can access the Model via the link to the right-hand side of this page. You will be required to register to set up an account to use the model and - for the time being - we have limited registrations to individuals at Deputy Finance Director / Deputy CFO level, to try to ensure that each organisation only registers once.

Once you have registered you will be able to allocate the nine process areas to different members of your team for them to complete. This will allow those with the most detailed knowledge of a relevant area to answer the questions. There are full instructions on how to complete the Model via the Guidance link in the top-left corner of the home page. There is also a Glossary that explains the terms used throughout the Model.

We will continue to develop the Model over time, including regular updates of the benchmarked information. To ensure that we develop the Model in a way that benefits you and your organisation, we would welcome your feedback on any aspect of its design or your experience in completing it.
