Risk Taking and Decision Making Online webinar with Caspar Berry

Understanding how we make decisions and deal with risk can make us all better at what we do. The fundamentals of risk and decision-making cut to the heart of the ways in which we allocate resources, plan our time, do more with less and maximise the returns from all of our investments in life.

In this session, Caspar will speak in his capacity as a former professional poker player who lived and worked in Las Vegas for three years and went on to become the UK’s premier poker TV commentator and the poker advisor on Casino Royale. He uses the metaphor of poker as a vehicle to communicate universally resonant messages around the need for individuals and companies to take risk and seize opportunities.

Superbosses: The Keys to Winning via Talent, Creativity and Leadership  Online workshop with Professor Sydney Finkelstein

Adaptive Leadership in  a changing world – Online group coaching

Adaptive Leadership for a Changing World is an online group coaching programme aimed at NHS leaders who recognise the need to align their skills, thinking and actions with the way in which the world is developing around them. In six 90 minute sessions, you will utilise the rich experiences of group learning while engaging in creative coaching opportunities designed to help identify a clear roadmap for your leadership journey. As well as a chance for development, these coaching sessions also offer an opportunity to take advantage of constructive development time away from the demands of your office.

FFF will be running a series of workshops ‘In conversation with…’ various NHS board members including Finance Director, Chief Executive, Medical Director and Non-Executives. This series of events will give attendees an opportunity to hear about the careers of NHS leaders, how they have dealt with the challenges of the pandemic and the skills needed to become a leader.  For each session we are looking for a Chair from the FFF Finance Leaders network, if you would be interested in Chairing one of these sessions please email
